Thoughts, resolutions, re-caps, bests...
In years past, I've always made a big point of writing a big holiday message to everyone. This year I decided to include a big holiday letter with my Christmas cards instead. I hope that those were recieved by everyone who I mailed them to!
But I still wanted to write a bit of a fun blog that would go over some of my thoughts regarding the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010!
To kick things off, here are, in my opinion, THE *BESTS* OF 2009:

I hope that if you give my picks a try that you'll love them as much as I do!!
2009 was a very busy year, which tends to be the usual case...
IN 2009 I TRAVELED TO THESE PLACES:
Fernie, British Columbia
Kicking Horse, British Columbia
Whistler, British Columbia
Jasper, Alberta X 2
Vancouver, British Columbia
Banff / Lake Louise, Alberta
Calgary, Alberta
Toronto, Ontario
Oakville, Ontario
London, Ontario X 2
Regina, Saskatchewan X 2
The trip to TORONTO was the biggest, best trip of the year!
IN 2009 I SAW THESE BANDS PLAY LIVE:
The Hot Business
Greater Than Giants X 2
Bryan Adams
Marianas Trench X 3
Britney Spears
The Stills
Metric
The Februarys
Killers
Hot Hot Heat
Joel Plaskett
Drive By Punch
The Bravery
Green Day
No Doubt
Stereos
The All-American Rejects
Fall Out Boy
Ill Scarlett X 3
Lights X 2
Keane
Moby
Matt Good
I'd say that BRITNEY SPEARS was the best concert out of all of them, since it was such a huge, amazing spectacle.
WEDDINGS THAT I ATTENDED IN 2009:
Lacey & Dallas got married on August 8th, 2009! FRIENDS WHO HAD BABIES IN 2009:
Robin gave birth to Amelia on March 17th, 2009!
And of course... RESOLUTIONS... First let's see how I did with my 2009 resolutions:
"I need to get back in yoga AGAIN. Probably take care of that bed thing. Go somewhere tropical. Save MORE money. BUY A CONDO."
It wasn't a total bust. I did attend yoga for a while there, but then sorta fell off the wagon. I DID finally get a new BED! I didn't go somewhere tropical, but I will be NEXT WEEK, so that counts a little? Can't say that I saved any money or bought a condo, but on the bright side, I'm 100% debt free and have been for a while. I also bought company stocks... So that counts as "saving" I think?
So this leads us to...
2010 RESOLUTIONS:
~ Get BACK ON the yoga wagon!!!
~ Save some money for reals this time? Also throw buttloads of money into my ING account.
~ Take as many plane rides as possible.
~ Embrace life change gracefully.
I think that the most amazing thing about this new year is that not only is it a new year... But it's a whole new decade. Just think about it... This will likely be the biggest decade of my life. I could get married, buy a house, start having children... Who knows! It's a very exciting concept to ponder.
I'm wishing everyone a wonderful 2010! Make it whatever you want it to be!
