A note on Colen.

I have removed my Toronto ladies from being able to see this because they are dealing with this situation directly enough as it is and don't need to have more of it in their faces.

Earlier this month I received the worst text message that I have ever gotten.

"Yesterday, February 11, 2015 was the hardest and worst day of my life. I went into labour at 40 weeks + 3 days. When we got to the hospital the baby had no heartbeat. I delivered our beautiful, perfect, sweet baby girl but the world will never get to meet her. We said goodbye before we could say hello.

We named her Claire Elyse Quinn.

Sometimes life is unfair to good people and we are in shock and heartbroken. Your love, support and friendship are important to us during this time of grief. It will take a long time to heal the emptiness we feel.

I wanted to tell you ladies about this because I thought that some of you may notice that I never mentioned anything about her giving birth, meeting her baby, etc. I have been feeling quite a lot of shock about the entire thing, and so much unbelievable sadness that something like this could happen to someone who is so close to me. I wish so much that no one that I love and care about would ever have to go through something like this.
